Will of Thomas Johnson Sterry, Gentleman, Saint Mary Newington, Surrey, 1817 This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Johnson Sterry of the parish of St Mary Newington in the County of Surry Gentleman made in the time of my health and strength of memory thanks be to Almighty God the same whereby I do confirm in all respects the settlement made by me upon my marriage with my dear wife Hester and all & every the real and personal estate and effects which I can dispose of at the time of my decease or in or to which I shall be intitled unto in revision remainder or expectancy I give devise and bequeath unto my said dear wife Hester to hold to her my said wife Hester her heirs exors admons and assigns for ever she paying hereout my just debts funeral expenses the costs of proving this my last Will and other incidental expenses attending the execution thereof. And I do hereby make nominate constitute and appoint my said wife Hester sole Extrix of this my last Will and Testament and hereby revoking and making void all former and other Will and Wills by me at any time heretofore made I do make publish and declare this to be and contain my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this second day of August in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventeen.
