Sterry Rites Tomorrow EDGAR H STERRY Funeral services for Edgar Horace Sterry, 52, registered pharmacist and representative of the E R Squibb and Son Wholesale Drug Company, will be held at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning at the Inglewood Methodist Church. The Rev Pickens Johnson will officiate assisted by the Rev Frank A Calhoun and the Rev PrenticePugh. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery where the Jere BaxterLodge No 742 F&A M will have charge of the Masonic rites. The body is at Phillips-Robinson Company. Mr Sterry died at 2:10 o'clock yesterday afternoon at St Thomas Hospital following a month's illness of a heart ailment. A native of Thomasville, Tenn., he was a son of the late Henry and Mary Sterry, and received his education in Ashland City, Tenn. He moved to Nashville in 1920, and at the time of his death he resdied at 1403 Winding Way. For the past 20 years Mr Sterry had been Tennessee representative for Squibb. Prior to that time he was associated with Warner Drug Company for severla years. In 1926 he was married to the former Miss Carrie Salene Warner who survives. A veteran of World War I, Mr Sterry was a member of the infantry and served in France for about a year. He was an active member of the Inglewood Methodist Church. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Jere Baxter Lodge No 742. He was also a member of the American Legion, the Tennessee Association of Retail Druggists, the Tennessee Drug Travelers and the Nashville Academy of Medicine. In adition to his widow, eh is survived by two daughters, Mrs Samuel W Magruder and Miss Anne Sterry, both of Nashville, and two sisters, Mrs C T Ellis, of Nashville and Miss Elizabeth Sterry of San Marcus, Texas. Active pallbearers will be R E Wyatt, Jr., J A Koellien, T E Hibbitt, Jr., Dr Willard Terrell, A H Halliburton, and R D Peery.
