Starks Maine 1866 Dec 9 Osbern Allen of Canton & Miss Carie N Stery(?) of Starks
Shared note: According to letter to Eva (Farrington) Chenery from Ellen Prince [kindly supplied by Carol (Chenery) Laverdiere] at the time of Osborne's death, the paper stated that there were three girls - Carrie was one - but she didn't remember the the name of the other two. Her mother never mentioned any of the three girls but she did say that Herman had a sister and her name was either Rose Lillian or Phoebe and she died young of diphtheria.
