Born after Nov 1638 when John Capne's will was written. Left own Will written in 1717: In the name of God Amen. I, Joseph Sterry of Lowestoft in the county of Suffolk, yeoman, considering the many ______ ______ of this life and being in continued recognition of my change by reason of my old age DO I make and ordain this my will as follows: Item I give unto my son John and my daughters Margaret and Alice ten shillings each to be paid in ten days after my demise by my daughter Hellen to whom I give also my houses and ______ ready money, goods and chattels of what nature and kind ______ for her industrious care and labour with me to get what I am and only now bequest to her and now having disposal of my world goods humbly recommend myself to Almighty God and hope for pardon of my sins by the love ______ of my blessed redeemer Jesus Christ. And my body to be decently buried by my daughter Helen she paying all my debts and funeral expenses.
