The People of the State of New York

Urwin D Sterry of Gray N.Y.

Whereas Eveline Sterry asis alleged, lately died intestate, having whilest living and at the time of her death, goods, chattels or credits within this State, by means whereof the ordering and granting administration of all and singular the said goods, chattels and credits, and also the auditing, allowing and final discharging the account thereof, doth appertain unto us: and we being desirous that the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased may be well and faithfully administered, applied, and disposed of, do grant unto you the said Urwin D Sterry full power by these presents, to administer and failthfully dispose of all and singular the said goods, chattels and credits; to ask, demand, recover and receive the debts which unto the said deceased whilst living, and at the time of his death, did belong; and to pay the debts which the said deceased did owe, as far as such goods, chattels, and credits will thereto extend and the law require, hereby requiring you to make, or cause to be made, a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased, which shall or have come to your hands, possession or knowledge; also to make or cause to be made duplicates of such inventory, and cause to same to be signed by the appraisers, and the same so made and signed, that you make return thereof to the Surrogate of the County of Rensselaer, within three months hereof; and further to render a just and true account of administration when thereunto required. And we do by these presents depute, constitute and appoint, you, the said Urwin D Sterry Administrator of all and singular the goods, chattels, and credits, which were of the Eveline Sterry deceased.

In testimony whereof, we have caused the Seal of office of our said Surrogate to be hereunto affixed. Witness Silvanus Moses Warren, Surrogate of the said County of Rensselaer, at his office, in the City of Troy, in said county, the 19 day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy five.

I certify the foregoing to be a true record of the Letters of Administration granted to Urwin D Sterry Administrator of the goods, chattels and credits of Eveline Sterry deceased; and the same were granted and recorded this 19 day of April 1875
