Entitlement to vote was far from universal and was based on an interest in buildings and land. Parish/Town refers to location of qualifying property not necessarily the place of residence of the individual. In Div/Item, the prefix letter refers to the Eastern or Western Division. The number that follows is the number allocated in the Roll itself. 'Stat' or Status refers to basis of electoral entitlement. 'F' is Freeholder (sole or joint), 'T' is Tenancy, no letter means that the person named is not enfranchised although they may be so by virtue of interest in another property.
